I chose to get a personal trainer after being a member of a gym for 12 months but only managing to use the cross trainer and running machines through fear of not knowing how to use all the other equipment in the gym. Though I had always been a fan of the cross trainer it gets quite monotonous when you use it every day and in the end I got bored and visited the gym less frequently. As a student, money is short and value for money is a big thing. Initially I thought I would only do the personal training for a short period of time but nine months on I am still training every week.
